A quick update to say that Phil is now fit and well and preparing for a pretty extensive period of touring with Show of Hands, who follow up their summer dates with a quick tour in Germany, followed by the Spires and Beams tour which starts in October.  Thanks to everyone who has sent their good wishes - and apologies that he hasn't been able to return everyone's calls and emails. Watch this space for Phil Beer gig dates in 2011!

Just a quick note on Phil Beer, who has had to pull out of Stonehaven this weekend.  See note below from the Show of Hands website:

Unfortunately Phil is in hospital overnight for tests and will not be able to get to Stonehaven which is a real shame. Steve will be doing his solo show at the festival instead, along with his song-writing workshop earlier in the day. Sincere apologies to all Show of Hands fans who have tickets, if you have any queries contact the festival. Hilary Cooper 07766 581596, but we hope you will come along anyway.
Our main concern is Phil’s well-being and we should know more when the tests have been done.

For any one who missed the Phil Beer Band Tour, they will be playing a one off gig at The Tunnels, Bristol.  Tickets are available from www.thetunnelsbristol.co.uk and are £12.

The Band tour kicked off at the Mill, Banbury - many thanks to a capacity crowd who gave a us an enthusiastic start to the tour.
Fareham on wednesday is sold out.
Bridport have very few tickets left
Worcester is selling very well.
All other shows are doing well with the exception of Stratford and Bristol. If there is no change beyond tomorrow, we may have to postpone.
We'll let you know as soon as possible.

We have already had to order a repress of Box Set One, which is absolutely fantastic. Hope you're all enjoying it!

Phil will be playing with Reg Meuross and Jackie Oates at St Bartholomews Church, Crewkerne on 18th December for a special Midwinter Concert in aid of the church roof repair fund.
