Dueto the dreadful weather conditions, there's no guarantee that I can get to the Ram Club tonight. If that happens then it will have a knock on effect on West Chiltington tomorrow as well. The big gig iExeter is also postponed until Easter sunday. Sorry Folks. Will keep you posted.

The last of the band shows is on sunday at The Corn Exchange, Exeter. Any profits made will be going to the Tall Ships berth fund.

The Box set. Yes that mythical compilation of legend oft mentioned in hushed tones in pub snugs and old folks homes. Yes it does exist. Yes it will be available very shortly. I’m putting the final touches to it here and now and writing the final draft of the sleeve notes.

There are five discs.

1. Archive material running from 1968 through to the early ‘90’s.
2. A live acoustic album featuring mostly recent material from Phil solo, Phil with Miranda, Reg Mueross,  Julie Matthews, Deb Sandland, Ridgeriders and more.
3. An acoustic studio album
4. An album of electric music including new and old studio tracks and some live recordings.
5. A dvd including Phil at the Minnack Theatre and a whole Band set filmed at Maidenhead.

It will finally go to manufacture in the first week of feb and you will be able to order it by the end of feb from Chudleighroots. Watch the websites for further details.

The Band show at the Exeter Corn Exchange  on the 8^th of feb is a special show to raise funds to help sponsor two berths on the good ship Pegasus for the forthcoming Tall Ships race in june. It will be a stand up show with Tom Palmer and other guests.

The Phil Slimathon fund stands at just over £3,800 pounds at the moment with a steady trickle of sponsor money still coming in. Thanks to Gwen for helping me to contact everyone and collect in the money. If you haven’t heard from us, its probably because we’ve not been able to correctly read the sponsor form and have misread your email address and /or snail mail address. I will be turning over £1800  to Bramble ward at the RDNE  at a presentation next week. Very sad to hear about the death of Davey Graham. His 1964 album 'Folk Blues and Beyond' was the main reason I got into acoustic music. I heard the news after saying goodbye to Paul & Fred (Little Feat guitarists) with whom I had a great three days before Christmas. Onwards and upwards. Happy new year!

Just to announce the first special guest on my Solo/Band tour next year.
Tom Palmer will be guesting at Salisbury, Exeter, Barnstaple and Nailsea.
This is to coincide with the release of his second album on the Chudleigh Roots label.
